An annual highlight of the writing calendar in Derby returns to QUAD on the 19th September, with the latest run of Edge-Lit.
Edge-Lit comprises of an exciting array of genre fiction authors for a day of interviews, panels, workshops, book sales and more.
This year, the event will feature five Guests of Honour, with acclaimed folk horror author Thomas Olde Heuvelt, multi-award winning fantasy and science-fiction novelist Adrian Tchaikovsky, bestselling ghost story author Laura Purcell, Clarke Award-winning science-fiction writer and popular fantasy novelist Frances White all joining for headline interview slots.
The panel programme will offer audience members insight into various elements of the writing process, featuring a variety of expert speakers, taking in topics such as worldbuilding, staying disciplined as a writer, the current horror revival and more.
As always, the event will be rounded off with the popular thread of workshops, with lots of inspiration and information to be offered up from a range of exciting authors across the fields of horror, science-fiction and fantasy.
