Research Cafe: The Power Of Witches

Over the past few hundred years the idea of ‘the witch’ has undergone a remarkable transformation in British culture and society. Drawing on local, national, and international examples from history, fiction, and living practices, Dr Andrew Fergus Wilson of the University of Derby will open up a discussion on the enduring power of witches, real and imagined, to fascinate and provoke us.
