Flash fiction is the shortest form of writing, and one that presents an exciting gateway for new writers as well as many fantastic creative opportunities! Over the course of four Fridays, we’ll be exploring the definition of the medium, looking at some key examples, exploring the importance of ‘freewriting’ in the form, setting up multiple creative tasks for you to write your own flash fiction and more!

The course will be led by Alex Davis, author,  lecturer at the University of Derby and De Montfort University and an acclaimed writing workshopper and tutor with more than twenty years of experience
