Reet Good is an electric, dynamic and trail-blazing event of Live Performance Art that seeks to break down barriers, challenges preconceptions and boldly centre and illuminate the work of Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent Artists.
The event, which will take place in various spaces at QUAD on the evening of 18 February, is the culmination of a four-day co-creation and collective sharing of artistic practice between six Deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent artists who have been provided much-needed space to share, create and reimagine work within the context of the Derby City Landscape.
The first Reet Good sharing of Live Performance Art will be presented at Derby QUAD on Friday 18th February 2021 from 7:00pm - 22:00pm BST time.
Participating Artists: Pierce Starre // Gemma Marmalade // Samm Shackleton // Paula Clarke // Niamh Meehan // Alice Colquhoun
Reet Good has been conceived by the neurodivergent led platform Performance N’ Tha with the generous support of UK New Artists in collaboration with Derby Theatre, QUAD and Heart of Glass with funding from Arts Council England. Reet Good’s core mission is to empower artists to articulate and develop their individual praxis within a temporary autonomous environment of co-creation and collective sharing.
Over 18s only. Free Entry.
