QUAD in Derby will be holding a Bruce Lee Day in June, offering a chance to see four rarely screened kung-fu films in 4K re-mastered versions. The four films are: The Big Boss (The Mandarin Cut), Game Of Death, Fist Of Fury and Way Of The Dragon, all films are certificate (15QUAD, Derby holds a Bruce Lee film day in June). The Bruce Lee Day screenings take place on Saturday 10th June from 1pm and can be seen consecutively throughout the afternoon and evening or individually. A special Day Pass is available to see all four films, priced: £30, £25 concessions or £20 for those aged 18 to 25 years. Individual tickets are priced £10 or £7.50 concessions, £5 for those aged 18 to 25 years.

QUAD staff member Peter Munford stated “I have been screening East Asian cinema at QUAD since 2012 and in all that time these classic Bruce Lee films have been unavailable to be shown in UK cinemas. That we are now able to show them, and in newly restored versions to boot, is hugely exciting and 10 June promises to be a fantastic day to spend at QUAD for anyone with an interest in martial arts cinema.”
