A Gentle Man (Part II) (1975-2029) by Becky Beasley – QUAD Members Private View

Join us for a private viewing of Becky Beasley’s touring exhibition A Gentle Man (Part II) (1975-2029) exclusively for QUAD members and their guests*. The artist will be present to talk to QUAD members about the exhibition and art works and refreshments will be provided.  

The exhibition is a meticulously constructed interior pastoral landscape. Pale green linoleum covers the floor, inset with hand-cut black silhouettes which form a series of lakes, accompanied by custom-made benches, ceramic works, audio narratives, and a four-part video. These elements create a space that invites visitors to linger in the space. We encourage you to sit, rest, read, listen, and return to experience the work at your own pace, allowing it to unfold gradually.
