For QUAD’s Season of LIGHT, what better time is there to investigate the many elements of light than during the darkest months of the year? Throughout QUAD’s corridor spaces we present the work of eight artists, all of whom explore light in their work; whether it informs their practice directly or is used as a physical element in the works they create. This exhibition includes colourful light boxes created by Nottingham based artist Rapheal Dedan, pencil drawings of light dancing on water from Norfolk based illustrator Kirsty O’Leary-Leeson, and optical illusions created by Derby based artist Katie Petraitis.
