In this eight-week course, lecturer, workshopper and writer Alex Davis will guide you through the fundamentals of creative writing. Ideal for anyone wanting to write for the first time, or just starting out in the field, topics will take in planning, structure, description, dialogue, tense and perspective and many more, giving you the confidence, inspiration and information to develop further as an author.

Week four – writing great description
Week five – developing realistic and compelling dialogue
Week six – tense and perspective for writers
Week seven – writing short stories vs writing novels
