Vampire Doll / Noroi: The Curse Double Bill

Part of Satori Screen

This spooky season join Satori Screen for a double bill of two fantastic Japanese horror films, as we pair a cult 70s title with an underseen classic of the 21st century.

Vampire Doll (18)

1970 Japan 71 mins Dir: Michio Yamamoto

A young man goes missing after visiting his girlfriend’s isolated country home. His sister and her boyfriend trace him to the creepy mansion, but their search becomes perilous when they uncover a gruesome family history.

Noroi: The Curse (15)

2005 Japan 115 mins Dir: Kôji Shiraishi

An investigative reporter into paranormal phenomena is forced to confront horrors beyond his wildest imagination after learning about an ancient folkloric demon, in this terrifying tale told in a pseudo-documentary format.

Tickets: £15 (standard), £13 (concessions and QUAD members), £11 (Member concessions) & £10 (18 – 25 year olds)

This screening will include an introduction from Satori Screen’s Peter Munford.
