BFI Film Academy SCENE: QUAD presents Midlands Short Film Club is a special screening and networking event dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the incredible work of filmmakers from the Midlands who have received support from the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund.

QUAD is very excited to be screening five short films, produced by some of the best creative talent from the region, here in Derby, and are delighted to welcome the remarkable filmmakers behind them for a panel discussion and Q&A afterwards.

Travel reimbursements for attendees aged 16-25 – as part of the BFI Film Academy activity for the region on behalf of Film Hub Midlands supported by National Lottery funds, we are offering attendees aged between 16-25 with travel reimbursements up to £20.00 in order to attend and enjoy the curated event. We will send a form for eligible attendees to complete and return after the screening which must be completed by Sunday 3rd December 2023. Keep an eye out for more details!
