Exploring the FORMAT theme of Factory we want you to photograph and contribute to the Derby At Work project. Take street photography of people working, photograph yourself and your colleagues at work, what is the modern working day? Looking after the kids? Doing homework? Walking the dog..? Do you have photos of Derby at work over the years?
Young people are invited to take part exploring work is in their lives and those around them, for example; walking the dog, tidying bedrooms and doing homework or seeing their parents go to work. Businesses can also take part in photo challenges for the opportunity to win a professional photographer to come to their workplace for a team building activity.
Submissions can be uploaded to: www.DerbyAtWork.com or brought into The Chocolate Factory venue. All submitted photos will be printed out attached to a map of city to create a constantly evolving exhibition. There is no charge to submit photographs or view the exhibition.
Submissions of archive photographs are also welcome. Working in partnership with Picture The Past, old photographs, negatives and slides which are submitted to the project will be added to a county-wide Photo Archive.
