Cult comedy series Nirvanna The Band The Show makes the leap from cult webseries and TV show to the big screen. Show creators Matt Johnson and Jay McCarrol play two struggling musicians who, since the launch of the original webseries, have been certain that playing a show at famed Toronto venue The Rivoli will lead to their dreams of musical fame and fortune being achieved.
Now in their cinematic debut the duo’s increasingly desperate attempts to book the gig lead to them being accidentally transported back in time to 2008…
