The Quatermass Event

Welcome to a day celebrating Nigel Kneale’s famous creation Bernard Quatermass! Over the course of four television serials and three feature films, Quatermass and his British Experimental Rocket Group have kept the Earth safe from sinister alien forces!

Joining us for this celebration are Toby Hadoke (author of The Quatermass Experiment – The Making Of TV’s First Sci-Fi Classic (2025), Andy Murray (author of Into The Unknown – The Fantastic Life of Nigel Kneale), Jon Dear (Producer of the 70th Anniversary The Quatermass Experiment stage production at Alexandra Palace) and Bronte Schilitz (featured on both of the new Hammer BluRays and contributor to new book Nigel Kneale and Horror)

8:00pm – Quatermass and the Pit (1967) – Introduced by Andy Murray
