Autism Awareness Week Workshops
QUAD is hosting two workshops for Autism Awareness Week;
Autism in Women and Girls – Monday 1st April 12:00 – 2:00pm at QUAD
This workshop will be delivered by Autism East Midlands. Participants will gain an awareness of autism spectrum conditions in women and girls. Building knowledge and understanding around diagnosis, social skills and communication, anxiety and useful coping strategies.

EHC Plans: Getting The Content Right – Wednesday 3rd April 10:00am – 12:30pm at QUAD
Organised by Contact for families with disabled children.
A free workshop for parents of disabled and special needs children. The workshop will be delivered by Gurvinder Kaur, a solicitor who specialises in Public Law, SEN and Community Care issues. The workshop will look, in brief, at the process of getting an Education Health and Care plan and the session will then focus on getting the content right.
