QUAD celebrates Summer in the Cinema with daily Family friendly screenings during the 6 weeks holiday: Cine Kids screenings are family focused film screenings taking place daily during the school holidays.

Cine Kids films in July and August include Elemental screening until 31 July, Transformers Rise of The Beasts (12A) screening from 11th August, Mavka: The Forest Song (PG) screening from 18th August, Spiderman: Across The Spiderverse (PG) screening from 25th August.

During August QUAD screens a Cine Kids Disney Season. 2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of Disney, creators of some of cinema’s greatest animated films. To celebrate we are putting some of their most beloved titles back on the big screen as part of our Cine Kids offer including: Snow White & The Seven Dwarves (1937), Bambi (1942), Cinderella (1950), Peter Pan (1953), 101 Dalmations (1962) and The Jungle Book (1967).Tickets are just £5 for Cine Kids members for more details please see: https://www.derbyquad.co.uk/season-festival/disney/

All Cine Kids tickets are £5.00 per person for Cine Kids Club members, which includes the whole family. Membership is FREE and available on the Young People & Families page or at QUAD Box Office to families with children under 16. Please remember to bring your Membership card to the screening as proof of membership will be checked at Box Office. To hear when new Cine Kids films are announced please join our Cine Kids Facebook Group. Non-members also welcome, who will be charged the standard cinema ticket price.

QUAD will also be screening the latest Family Friendly cinema releases including: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (PG) (4th – 17th August) Barbie (12A), and Haunted Mansion (12A) 18 – 24 August. On release date film tickets are full price for adults and £5 tickets for anyone under 25 years.

During the summer holidays, QUAD’s family friendly Café Bar will be open daily from 10am serving drinks, snacks, coffee, cakes and milkshakes, as well as kids meals from £4.95.

A free creative exhibition experience, Create My World: Nature, is free to visit with hands-on activities to unlock creativity. A programme of Family friendly workshops for young people from creative craft to photography and filmmaking & workshops are sure to inspire the next generation of innovators, creatives and artists!
