New Major Solo Exhibition for QUAD Gallery

QUAD is thrilled to announce Haunting Alongside Our Shadows – Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley’s forthcoming exhibition at QUAD, featuring a series of new commissions and is the artists’ first major solo show in the UK.

Haunting Alongside Our Shadows will be in QUAD Gallery from 29 September 2021 – 9 January 2022.

The gallery space will display a number of immersive, digital, sculptural and interactive works that will react depending on where the viewer is and what they do – with them becoming the controller for the work.  Featuring Motion Captured animated figures, this exhibition will ‘manifest’ around the visitor – a literal haunting – and will focus on the hidden histories of Black Trans people.
