A virtual space to record, archive and recreate the Create My World exhibition

Thank you everyone for coming to our summer exhibitions Create My World: Nature and Play & Display and helping to create a natural world in our gallery’s virtual world. Our team have seen many brilliant artworks in the exhibitions and hope everyone enjoyed their time in the gallery.  

 In the past 8 weeks, we have our placement Lorna Fraser from the University of Leicester MA Museum Studies to work with the programme team at QUAD, as the last module of her course. Lorna has been working on this participation project and look into all artworks in the gallery this summer, and she has made some selections and created a virtual space to record, archive and recreate this exhibition. She has launched RE-create my world on WordPress with selections of works in the gallery, and taking over the @quad_gallery instagram account from 7-8 Sept to share some of her thoughts on the placement.
