Due to increasing costs, we have taken the difficult decision to introduce the small fee payable when buying a ticket

The past few years for QUAD have been a time of change. Despite this, our customers, members & sponsors have continued to support us and for this we are truly thankful. We’re asking for your support once again today as we announce that from 1st March we will be introducing a small transaction fee of £1 on all tickets.

Due to increasing costs, we have taken the difficult decision to introduce the small fee payable when placing a booking, unless you are a paid QUAD annual member. We have held off the introduction of this charge for as long as possible, however it is essential that we do so at this time.

Currently, when cinema a ticket for QUAD is sold, after VAT and distribution costs, we receive on average around £3.00 to go towards our overheads including staff, maintenance, cleaning and heating. The £1 transaction fee will go towards these increasing costs.

The transaction fee is payable on all tickets purchased from QUAD through any avenue. Exceptions to this transaction fee will be for those with paid QUAD annual memberships.

The transaction fee will come into force on Friday 1^st March and any tickets purchased on or after that date will include the £1 transaction fee.
