Workshops for Adults
16th Mar
In this workshop photographer and darkroom practitioner Daniel Wheeler from Make It Easy lab Nottingham, will be teaching you how to make photographs using light sensitive paper in a pop-up darkroom here at QUAD.
During the workshop you will learn to use a large format camera and spend time making some photographs on Harman Direct Positive paper. You will then take your exposed paper into the darkroom where you will develop your images using traditional photo chemistry, producing one-off unique photographs!
By the end of the workshop you will have made several images to take away and have gained a knowledge of the analogue processes involved.
This workshop is suitable for all abilities, from beginners to professional photographers.
This workshop is open to people aged 16 and over. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets: £30. To book your place, select the available time slot below and follow the booking instructions.
Each ticket is subject to a £1 transaction fee at checkout with the exception of bookings made by QUAD members. This £1 goes directly towards the running of QUAD.
