This programme features three beautifully restored episodes from The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: A Scandal in Bohemia, The Golden Pince-Nez​ and The Final Problem, accompanied by newly commissioned scores recorded live at the Alexandra Palace Theatre. There is an 11-minute interview with the BFI’s Curator of Silent Film, Bryony Dixon, revealing the details of the restorations.

This is a QUAD Essentials screening and features an introduction and a post-screening discussion.
