Calling Derby/Derbyshire Based Young People
We’re excited to announce an opportunity for Derby/Derbyshire based creative young people, aged up to 25 as part of our upcoming youth exhibition ‘JOURNEY‘ taking place in January-February 2024.
What does the theme of ‘journey’ mean to you as a young artist? You are encouraged to express your unique interpretation of this theme through photography, moving image, digital art or video.
Work selected from this open call will be exhibited in QUAD’s Extra Gallery Spaces, curated by QUAD’s Young Advocates.

Please note
For submissions that include images of children and young people aged under 18, we will need to contact their parent or carer to seek permission.
If preferred, instead of the online application, we can accept different formats of the application, for example, audio or video (no longer than 5 minutes). We can also accept a paper hand-written copy, if it arrives by the deadline. To discuss options, or to enquire about your own preferred way of making an application please contact youngadvocates@derbyquad.co.uk

About QUAD Young Advocates
QUAD’s group of young decision makers and reviewers aged 16 – 25, who work with staff and artists to plan new projects and explore ways to promote our programme to other young people and elevate youth voice within the community.
